Description Hamilton Coutinho 2003-01-24 05:34:58 UTC
I installed bash-completion-20021231 and uncommented the bash completion lines in
~/.bashrc. After that I cannot start other subshells, which fail with the message:
subshell.c: read (subshell_pty...): Input/output error
If I comment the lines in ~/.bashrc it starts to work again.

can't reproduce

plz update your bash-completion to the latest version, and if this doesn't fix it
post your bash version and emerge info here
