The newest version Longplayer is 1.01 according to its website (http://lplayer.sourceforge.net/download.php), but the latest version in portage of media-sound/longplayer is only 0.99.3.

xmms, all plugins and ebuilds that unconditionally depend on xmms are now package.masked and will be removed from the tree in one month.
