Description Chris Parrott (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-21 12:10:57 UTC
dev-lang/hugs98-2005.3-r2 has previously been marked stable for amd64, ia64, and ppc64. The Gentoo Haskell herd would like to request that this package marked stable on alpha, hppa, ppc, sparc, and x86 as well.

We have received no new issues regarding this package in quite some time, so this should be a fairly low-risk item.
Comment 1 Ferris McCormick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-21 12:37:17 UTC
sparc has been stable for quite some time. (We went stable almost three hours before your request, in fact. :) )
Comment 2 Thomas Cort (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-22 07:31:19 UTC
alpha stable.
Comment 3 Jesus Rivero (Neurogeek) 2006-08-22 15:57:34 UTC
in x86

1) emerges fine
2) passes collition tests
3) works

Ah, I see so it needs fixing with gcc-4.1.1 before it can go stable. We'll try and look into it.

Actually my bug report is for hugs-2003.11. I this this accelerates the need for 2005-3-r2 to be marked stable.

Comment 9 Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-11 15:40:37 UTC
Feel free to readd x86@ once a gcc-4.1 compatible ebuild is ready for stabilization.
Comment 10 Petr Baudis 2006-09-11 15:50:00 UTC
Build with gcc-4.1 works fine.
Comment 11 Andrej Kacian (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-11 17:34:50 UTC
Right, sorry, I misread. 2005.3-r2 stable on x86. Closing bug, as we're the last arch.
