Hi, I'm not in my box now, I only wanted now to comment it. If I should post this bug here or in another because is not 100% gentoo related.

The problem is: when I have enabled CPU TEMP WARNING in BIOS, when doing a /etc/init.d/lm_sensors start (previously configured via sensors-detect) I hear a very annoying whistle comming from the PC speaker. This whistle doesn't stop unless I do a /etc/init.d/lm_sensors stop or I disable this feature from BIOS.

Please tell me if I should include here all related info: mother boeard model, chipset, etc..

Yeah include motherboard info too, I wonder if it's same as mine :)
