Description Taylor Braun-Jones 2006-08-01 16:18:38 UTC
I have been using most of the gEDA tools part of this package and had no problems. It depends on sci-libs/libgeda and sci-libs/libgdgeda which I unmasked with:

=sci-electronics/geda-20060123 ~amd64
=sci-libs/libgeda-20060123 ~amd64
=sci-libs/libgdgeda-2.0.15 ~amd64

I am running an up-to-date amd64 (stable) Gentoo box.

should probably done for other arches too. sci-electronics herd: if you have no objections, please add the arches to CC

Good idea. This is old enough and no known bugs, plus there's an even newer version in the pipe. Please arches, stabilize this.

Denis.

sci-libs/libgdgeda-2.0.15:
1) emerges fine
2) passes collision-protect

sci-libs/libgeda-20060123:

2) passes collision-protect

sci-electronics/geda-20060123:

x86 stable as always ^.^;;
Comment 8 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-04 08:15:49 UTC
when i click the "PCB Editor" menu entry I get a "pcb: command not found" on the console. Seems like a missing dep issue. It would be nice to get this fixed before I mark it stable. Please re-CC us once that's done :)
Comment 9 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-25 06:54:49 UTC
plasmaroo told me the error mentioned above is harmless, so geda is stable now :)
