No point in backporting a 'fix'. The 'fix' is using external libcfile (that's all .1 to .2 was). Blocked by 140593.

I don't think Bug #140593 should block this from going stable, since it's a bug in tarsync not diffball. stable on ppc

It looks like three archs still have diffball-0.6.5 as the highest stable version. Please stabilize if gcc-4.1 is relevant to your arch.
Only GCC4.0.1 here, but stabled ppc-macos anyway.
