Description Troy Telford 2006-07-14 15:55:55 UTC
I upgraded imagemagick this morning to 6.2.8.0.

Its changelog states that it went 'stable' on amd64 on Jul 13th, so at least emerge works ;)

I can take a graphic and convert it to png format.
(ie. `convert headhopper.jpg headhopper.png`)

however, what doesn't work is converting from PNG to anything (including another png)

`convert headhopper.png headhopper.gif`
convert: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/ImageMagick-6.2.8/modules-Q16/coders/png.so: undefined symbol: png_get_asm_flags

This has happened on two 64-bit systems (one AMD64, one Intel EM64T).

I don't have any problems with the upgrade on x86 architectures.
