The current openct 0.6.7 ebuild works just fine with 0.6.8 when renamed. However, openct is missing a patch that was submitted quite some time ago adding an escape function which permits communication with the Cardman 5121 (and possibly other) contactless smartcard readers. I have tested the patch and can verify that it works with the latest SVN librfid. Attached is an ebuild for librfid SVN, and a slightly-modified version of the librfid developer's patch for openct - I had to change the Makefile.in in a few places to get the thing to compile. Also attached is the openct 0.6.8 ebuild making use of the patch.

openct has been version bumped, thanks. but I won't maintain the other package for more than one reason.
Sorry, but its against policy to add live ebuilds to the tree, _especially_ when there isn't a maintainer. You can reopen this bug with a snapshot ebuild if you want.
