Description Thomas Cort (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-22 06:54:57 UTC
I'll be attaching a patch for gentoo-alpha-faq.xml with some changes. Below is a brief list of what has changed.

Changes

 - did some re-wording in some parts to make it flow better.
 - linked to the status reports page instead of the last status report
 - Added "Can aboot boot kernels from xfs, reiserfs, or jfs partitions?"
 - Added "How is .NET support in Gentoo/Alpha?"
 - Added "What is needed for .NET support?"
 - Added "I opened up the case on an AlphaServer and now
it won't power on, what do I do?"
 - Update "Are hardened-sources supported?" (its ~alpha now)
 - Update "Does the 2.6 kernel support Alpha SMP?" (it works now)
 - Update "How can I help the Gentoo/Alpha Project?" (add become an AT)
 - Update "Is there an Alpha Arch Testers Project?" (we have one now)

Fixed in CVS. Slight tweaks to the guidexml; thanks for the patch with all the new stuff. Alpha is such a cool, unique arch. :)

Thanks for reporting.
