showimg can't resolve symbols when staring. I think the problem is in ban configure options. Configure said:

kexidb/showimgdb support for ShowImg: yes when I don't have kexi.

s/staring/starting/; s/ban/bad/; s/kexi/kexif/? Sorry, try again, doesn't make much sense... And 

- attach (don't paste) complete config.log
- post emerge --info 
- post the output you get when you run showimg from a terminal
- also, post emerge -pv showimg output.

Uhm, this bug was reported by my brother... anyway, I resolved the problem by recompiling showimg, so it doen't matter that you still do not understand it ;)
