Recently I decided to upgrade my gentoo media box. A lot of Freevo's dependencies were updated, and since reboot, this soft doesn't work anymore on framebuffer. i spent a long time trying to find why, without success (Freevo isn't very verbose). instead of launching the nice blue user interface, if just displays it like... aalib ? It is, of course, completely unusable. I spent a long time trying to understand what is going wrong, and I'm pretty sure this is related to SDL / pygame. Maybe even to the bug #89486 ? Try w/ 1.5.4, please.
Hi, and sorry to answer nearly one month late, was very busy. Just tested 1.5.4, and the problem is solved. Thanks.
Hubert: You actually use freevo? Will you be willing to maintain it?
