Yes.

fstab:
none /var/tmp/portage tmpfs defaults,size=1024m 0 0

ls -l /var/tmp/portage

drwxr-xr-x 6 portage portage 200 Apr 23 19:21 gnupg-1.4.2.2
drwxrws--- 3 portage portage 60 Apr 23 17:04 homedir
drwxr-xr-x 6 portage portage 180 Apr 23 22:22 libieee1284-0.2.1

df -h

none 1.0G 25M 1000M 3% /var/tmp/portage

Doesn't look like I'm running out of space.
Comment 5 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-04-24 19:19:38 UTC
unmount the tmpfs and try again

Comment 6 Tom Barcellona 2006-04-24 19:24:59 UTC
Fixed it. Emerged fine. What about tmpfs was preventing it from happening?
