I have two network interfaces, eth0 (wireless) and eth1 (wired), excluding loopback. With baselayout-1.12.0_pre17-r2, both interfaces are started during init even though net.eth1 has no runlevel; only net.eth0 has. This was not the case with baselayout-1.11.14-r8 (currently stable for x86).
