Please describe the problem: I cannot save images in JPEG format. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open some image 2. File -> Save As... 3. Try to save as jpeg. The options (optimized, progressive) don't matter. Actual results: A 0 byte file gets written. I just tested 2.7.5.1, and with this version, I can write JPEG image files just fine.
I have this problem also when trying to resize images. I get blank 0 byte new files.. same error. version 2.6.9 If 2.7.5.1 fixes this problem as said, please import it to portage.
When will this be fixed? Ie., when will the broken "stable" version be removed and instead the working "unstable" version be added to the tree? Raising severity, as this bug makes gthumb pretty much useless.
