I have no problem emerging it without the test feature. Hi. I don't see how this can be a dupe of the expat bug. If you noticed, I can emerge kdelibs with FEATURES"-test", I just can't do it with FEATURES="test". By the way, I had already rebuilt my system because of expat.
The new libexpat is libexpat.so.1.5.0 not libexpat.so.0, which is missing, according to the output you're providing. Regarding maketest issues, we're fond of every patch you apply to bug 86758. We unfortunately don't have the human ressources to fix these minor issues.
