While emerging audacity, I get this error: error, /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.5/../../../libwx_gtk2-2.4.so: undefined reference to `vtable for wxFileProto' This happens whether I'm compiling by hand or using portage. I've got wxGTK-2.6.1 installed (which kind of doesn't make sense with audacity using the 2.4 so), and other wx apps are running quite normally. The rest of the compile progresses with nothing more suspicious than usual.
