When logged into enlightenment, the X Server task suddenly eats almost 100% CPU ressources. I still can move the mouse, but it does not change it's icon and does not react on any clicks. Keyboard seems dead. It only happens when I use the X-Server. The computer runs for days without problems when work via SSH. I can reproduce the problem easily be scrolling a window application via krdc -> rdesktop. But the same phenomen happens without krdc/rdesktop running as well. I once got graphic corruptions but I don't know if that was enlightenment-related, X-Server or Graphic-driver. I tried other versions of the nvidia-kernel, but they all only give me a black window without error message and withough any further keyboard interacting. sending a SIGTERM, SIGKILL and SIGSEGV via SSH to the /usr/X11R6/bin/X process had no effect. However, /etc/init.d/xdm restart made me log in again until the next "freeze". I tried the x11-nv driver as well, but the Geforce 6100 card is not supported.
It's nvidia drivers issue. No good solution except not using proprietary drivers, sorry. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 97766 ***
