Description Serkan Kaba (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-22 21:16:02 UTC
starting hald from hal-0.5.7 turns dma acceleration of block devices off. I need to restart hdparm evry time I boot (since hdparm starts before that) and restart hal

Comment 2 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-12 23:35:07 UTC
do you mean you activated keep_features_over_reset flag and hald overrides it ? If not this his normal behavior I think.
Comment 3 Doug Goldstein (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-16 09:57:40 UTC
Can you provide a "lshal" of the device?
Comment 4 Serkan Kaba (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-25 20:39:28 UTC
I cannot reproduce it now
