Description Andrew Dorney 2006-03-20 17:49:55 UTC
I honestly don't know what caused this... there was that upgrade to the ffmpeg that I did, xine crashed, and the day after the emerge ffmpeg got hard masked. I downgraded to the previous ffmpeg, recompiled xine-lib, and xine still crashed.

andrew@StubbornAesthetics ~ $ xine
This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.99.4.
(c) 2000-2004 The xine Team.
xiTK received SIGSEGV signal, RIP.
Aborted

I've attached a gdb backtrace and my emerge --info... hopefully that helps some. Let me know if I can offer any more help on this one.

No it's not sig33 the problem, that it's just a real time event.
