According to #10 at http://mnm.uib.es/gallir/cpudyn/faq.html /etc/init.d/cpudynd stop should enable the CPU max freq, (shutting down the system, for example). Now it only leaves the CPU at the lower freq available, and I consider it a mistake. Well, it's only a feature request to modify /etc/init.d/cpudynd.
In other words, "/etc/init.d/cpudyn stop" should be as "/etc/init.d/cpudyn max".
can you please submit a patch for this so that I can include it? No one here uses it obviously ..
