Description Evan 2006-03-06 22:11:44 UTC
when it is booting it cant find my alsa drivers and asks if they were compiled correctly then it says no screens found then it says fatal error cannot load the module speed0 and when i go to the log report it says that there is no directory called font (which by the way i can cd into) and even though it is there i have read other peoples way of how to fix it but they all say that a folder that i don't have is there and that modprobing a module in it fixes all my errors. well any way it wants me to use mkdir to fix my problems but it wount let me make the directorys it just runs into one problem after another.
p.s. i had no problems with the 2005.1 livecd installer in the experimental stage except that the installer didn't work and i sayd hey it is only experimental it might not work but why does the 2005.1 livecd work but i can't get into the livecd environment with the 2006.0 livecd?

sorry it is so long i just am wondering why it wont work. i have tryed 3 mirrors and am using a gateway thanks.

not sure why this was assigned to hardened as there is no evidence of hardened bugs. reassigning to bug-wranglers so they can find out where to put these
