Hi, looks like the installer doesn't fetch the current resolution of the screen: /root/installer/src/fe/gtk/PartitionButton.py:61: GtkWarning: gtk_widget_set_size_request: assertion `width >= -1' failed self.set_size_request(self._division, self.layout.get_pixel_size()[1]) The current resolution of my (old) screen is 800*600. The standard size of the install window is a bit to large and since i can't resize it, it's a bit tricky to access all features on the bottom of the window....
Unfortunately, shrinking the window or allowing it to be resized would make it so that some of the screens' contents cannot be seen. If you *must* use the installer, use the dialog-based one.
Yep i switched to the classical minimal-install-cd way of installing. i realy like the idea to have an installer, so that also my friends will install gentoo, that's why i tested it :-) Just a suggestion...maybe it would be usefull to layout the installer window the way that it also looks good on 800*600 (without resizing)...
Moving to Release Media/Installer.
