I use nbsmtp as my outgoing mail relay from mutt. I recently came across a problem in which I wanted procmail to be able to 'bounce' a message to my work account from my home box. nbsmtp does not provide any way of specifying envelope recipients manually -- it only scans the message header. I wrote the following patch against the code to enable this functionality. The patch provides documentation in both comments and the man page. I've have submitted the patch upstream, but haven't heard any word from the developers. I was wondering if it could be made available in portage. At the very least, it will now be avialable through this bug.
