Description Christian Wetzig 2006-02-13 02:09:30 UTC
This only happens when compiled without X support, but running mcedit within konsole (under X). If X support is enabled, then pressing shift+enter does nothing at all.
This also happens when connecting to a remote server via ssh, where mc has no X support (because there is no X at all) and therefore it is very annoying :-(

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge mc without X use flag
2. open mcedit from konsole
3. type anything
4. press shift+enter

app-misc/mc-4.6.0-r14

Does it still occur with mc-4.6.1 ?
Comment 2 Christian Wetzig 2006-04-17 22:53:43 UTC
no, seems to work in 4.6.1
Comment 3 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-18 06:32:16 UTC
Thanks for reporting back, closing. 4.6.1 should get stable keywords soon, see Bug 130299.
