I was looking at ipsec-tools and I saw a new release @SF.net, so I decided to revbump the ebuild and see what open bugs are out there. Will attach new ebuild. Currently there are the following bugs: bug #76741: ipsec-tools uses kernel-headers Seems to be fixed, plese consider marking RESOLVED FIXED bug #87920: ipsec-tools-0.5-r1: racoon doesn't launch with -4 option Looking at the configure.ac in ipsec-tools-0.6.5, this seems included; consider marking RESOLVED FIXED bug #92337: <ipsec-tools-0.5 incompatible with >=*-sources-2.6.10 ??? Very difficult to fix, not sure but it affects only very old ipsec-tools ebuilds. Consider marking it RESOLVED after removing all ipsec-tools-0.[234]* form the tree bug #99547: ipsec-tools >= 0.5, tunnel mode does not work This is fixed for >=ipsec-tools-0.6.2, consider marking RESOLVED FIXED bug #111312: new ebuild for ipsec-tools-0.6.2 with optional kerberos support I added this to my proposed patch for ipsec-tools-0.6.5 Let's close some bugs, we have enough left :-)
Created attachment 79082 [details, diff] ipsec-tools-0.6.5.ebuild.diff ChangeLog: Updated header for 2006 Shortened DESCRIPTION Added kerberos to IUSE and DEPEND Added comment to refer to bug #76741 Fixed whitespace for econf Removed commented out code for --enable-samode-unspec (bug #99547) Added comment for parallel builds Added warning for USE=kerberos (from bug #111312)

ipsec-tools-0.6.6 is out for quite some time and has a better ebuild. See the depend on bug #152971 or my overlay for more. Once bug #152971 is resolved (and we have ipsec-tools-0.6.6 in the tree) there is no need to provide 0.6.5 anymore and this will be closed.
closing as other version bump bugs exist.
