Description Pardsbane 2002-12-15 00:04:52 UTC
The file /etc/conf.d/pcmcia has the following contents:

# These are from the pcmcia-cs distribution, but aren't used yet
# Should be either i82365 or tcic
#PCIC=""
# Put socket driver timing parameters here
#PCIC_OPTS=""

Why aren't these used yet? What are the issues that need to be resolved to get
these options supported? I need to specify an option at the PCIC_OPTS=
setting, and since I can't, I have to manually load the modules whenever I
boot my laptop. Is there a way around this?

Can I do anything to help get these options enabled?
