A small collection of UT2004 map packs I've authored ebuilds for, with an eclass that makes creating ebuilds for these dead simple (pretty much all map packs follow the same structure as the UT2004 directory)

Created attachment 78937 [details] eclass: games ut2k4mappack Removed -* from KEYWORDS. Not sure where that came from but it shouldn't be there.
Created attachment 79007 [details] eclass suitable for UT2004 mods Adding the beyondunreal mirrors is a great idea. But, who is 85.10.210.201? Here's the eclass, tweaked so I think it will be very useful for the UT2004 mods.
(In reply to comment #12) > Adding the beyondunreal mirrors is a great idea. But, who is 85.10.210.201? It's the UT2007World HTTP mirror, which is quite important for me as I'm at uni and they block FTP here (apparently allowing people to download via ftp is a security risk, go figure). The real mirror addresses were obtained running wget on the links provided at http://download.beyondunreal.com/fileworks.php/mods/fbubp.zip > Here's the eclass, tweaked so I think it will be very useful for the UT2004 > mods. Thanks. Nice comments too.
Such an eclass, with tiny changes, would be very useful for Doom3 and Quake4 "packs" also.
Created attachment 79194 [details] games-mappack.eclass Here's a version of the eclass which supports doom3, quake4 and ut2004 - and surely ut2007, once it's released.
Created attachment 87571 [details] ut2004-ctf-1.ebuild Here is a working ebuild which installs a shedload of capture-the-flag maps. But, more importantly, it contains a generic and reasonably elegant way of installing UT2004 files into their proper directories - which should be an option in a ut2004 eclass.
OK. I added a games-mods eclass today that started off from Paul's eclass here. Anyway, I'm currently porting all of the quake3 mods (enemy-territory is done) to the eclass, then I'll be porting all the doom3 mods. Once I have finished with Id stuff, I plan on updating all of the ut200* mods. After that, I'll get to these.
Created attachment 100312 [details] games-mod.eclass Here's an eclass I've been using for Quake 1 maps. It's not finished ('cos it will ultimately include all games that have mods), but hopefully it's useful.
Please rename games-mod*s* to games-mod, which looks far more sensible in an ebuild ;)
