Here is an ebuild for schedutils-1.5.0. Compared to previous version in the tree (1.4.0), it adds "ionice", which is quite useful with >=2.6.13 kernels. I've made some random trivial changes to the ebuild: - don't use the Makefile in src_install, since it's of no help and imho things are more readable with a few "do*" functions. - added manpage for ionice in $FILESDIR (comes from utils-linux-2.13_pre). - added a block rdep against >=utils-linux-2.13_pre (schedutils is included in that version). Btw, the opposite should probably be done in utils-linux-2.13_pre* ebuilds. - changed HOMEPAGE / SRC_URI to where an HTTP redirection was pointing. Btw, $SRC_URI for 1.4.0 is no more valid. - added some "dodoc".

Is there a reason that schedutils-1.5.0 is still in testing after it has been out there for over a year?
(In reply to comment #5) > Is there a reason that schedutils-1.5.0 is still in testing after it has been > out there for over a year? > due to somebody too lazy/memoryless to add this btw, ionice need patch from http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-462230.html for su-checks
if you want something done, you either do it yourself or you file a new bug
