ppc currently has a broken dependency:

  PDEPEND.bad                    1
   dev-php5/pecl-pdo/pecl-pdo-1.0.2.ebuild: ppc(default-linux/ppc/2005.0) ['dev-php5/pecl-pdo-oci']

I think you want to use.mask the flag 'oci8' too in profiles/base/use.mask, not only oci8-instant-client

Removing archs that already keyworded this.
'oci8' is now masked on ppc too, all correct now and repoman doesn't complain.
