Description manuels 2005-12-28 13:49:23 UTC
Here is a bug in the DTLS implementation of OpenSSL.
There is a patch to fix it.
I recommend that this patch is automaticly applied to OpenSSL>0.9.8 by its ebuild.

where did this patch come from ? it isnt in the upstream openssl cvs and we dont apply anything to openssl that isnt a patch from upstream

in other words, if this hasnt been sent upstream yet, this bug report should be going here:
http://www.openssl.org/support/rt2.html
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-12-28 14:02:52 UTC
err, just read your openssl-dev link :)

either way, it still isnt in upstream cvs, so it needs to go in there first
Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-01-01 15:04:16 UTC
let us know when it gets accepted upstream :)
Comment 5 manuels 2006-01-07 12:18:07 UTC
nagendra told me, that it will be applied to the cvs soon.

I will reopen this bug as soon as it is applied to the cvs.
