i have lucq installed already:
*  net-im/licq
      Latest version available: 1.2.0a-r2
      Latest version installed: 1.2.0a-r1
Size of downloaded files: 1,700 kB
      Homepage: http://apps.kde.com/
Description: Based on the kde-base eclass

are there anymore infos i could provide?
Comment 2 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-09 12:40:08 UTC
what version of licq ? and are they supposed to work together ?
Comment 3 alex f 2002-12-09 17:25:04 UTC
i have licq 1.2.0a-r1 installed. http://gtk.licq.org/download.html says gtk+licq
0.51 is for licq v1.0.3.
Comment 4 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-10 09:45:14 UTC
so i guess i should make it a hard dependency on 1.0 then to make it work ?
Comment 5 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-11 11:50:43 UTC
It seems to depend on licq-1.0.3 which is not in portage anymore, can you maybe
confirm it works with licq-1.0.4 (which is in portage) ? If so, i'll make it
depend on that, otherwise i'll have to remove it.
Comment 6 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-22 10:46:30 UTC
im removing gtk+licq, it seems way outdated and an inactive project.
Comment 7 alex f 2002-12-22 15:38:02 UTC
oops, im sorry if forgot about thisone. if the compile is related to the not
matching versions ..hard depend on 1.0. but then again nobody wants to use 1.0 i
guess, so one could prolly get rid of this ebuild
Comment 8 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-22 16:02:52 UTC
i already did, cause i assumed the same and there hasn't been any activity on
that project for over a year.
