Could you try to check which package /usr/lib/libroken.so.16 belongs to and try to remerge this one? Seems like something in there is broken.
It is part of the Heimdal package. I remerged Heimdal and attempted to emerge OpenOffice again with the same result. Perhaps this one should be passed-by the Heimdal maintainer for comment?
