Stefan, any chance of getting this rolling with bri completely disabled (USE
removed for now too)? Just to allow people to use 1.2 in ~arch for now, might
get more feedback bout any other issues non-bri related :) Which in turn will
mean stabilization faster long term.

yeah, agreed.  Not everyone needs bri.  I wouldn't say remove the bri
use flag, I'd say if bri is in the use flags, error out on the build just
so those using bri know it's not supported in that version, and
just mark that version of asterisk unstable in the tree...

I would actually venture to say _most_ people do not use bri.  Besides,
is there even an ETA on the bristuff being updated?
