Description Karl Ernst Brunk 2005-12-07 09:43:47 UTC
after a emerge -Dup world openoffice-2.0.0 was installed. But as i mentioned in
Bugreport 114623 the old installations 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 are still there. The Bug
was closed as invalid beqause the versions should be sloted.
But after the completed emerge it is no longer possible to unmerge the older
versions.
emerge -Pvp gives only one version = 2.0.0
emerge -search openoffice = not one of the older versions
qpkg --dups -v = nothing
equery l = app-office/openoffice-2.0.0 nothing else.
emerbge -C app-office/openoffice-1.1.x = unmerge: No packages selected for removal.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -Du openoffice
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Installation of openoffice 2.0 and like all updates removing als hints to older
versions.

Expected Results:
If it is realy sloted - an emerge -C of older versions should work.
If its not - it should delete the old version.

OO.org *is* slotted, as you can easily see if you look at the ebuilds.

I'm probably blind, reopening the original bug.
