For starters, here's some packages from my world file that are currently missing ~amd64 keywording. [ebuild R ] x11-libs/libXevie-0.99.2 0 kB [ebuild R ] x11-libs/libXprintAppUtil-0.99.1 0 kB [ebuild R ] x11-libs/libXfontcache-0.99.1 0 kB [ebuild R ] x11-apps/xvinfo-0.99.1 0 kB [ebuild R ] x11-apps/xgamma-0.99.1 0 kB [ebuild R ] x11-themes/gentoo-xcursors-0.3.1 0 kB All the above mentioned packages build correctly on amd64. xvinfo/xgamma appear to work correctly, and the gentoo cursors also appear to work fine. I'm not entirely sure whether anything's actually using the x11-libs/lib{Xevie,XprintAppUtil,Xfontcache} packages, equery wasn't too helpful on that so I can't be certain they're working correctly. If needed, I can try and find some time to write some simple test apps that exercise these libs. emerge info: darktama@disoft-dc ~ $ emerge info Portage 2.0.53_rc7 (default-linux/amd64/2005.1, gcc-4.0.2, glibc-2.3.6-r1, 2.6.14-gentoo-r2 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.14-gentoo-r2 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre10 distcc 2.18.3 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] ccache version 2.4 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5, 2.4.2 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.13 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r7 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.20-r1 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r3 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib64/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig buildpkg ccache distlocks multilib-strict nostrip sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/Gentoo/ http://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/Gentoo/" LINGUAS="en de" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/home/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/overlays/scratch" SYNC="rsync://rsync.au.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X a52 aac aalib acl acpi alsa audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts browserplugin bzip2 cairo cdb cdr crypt cups curl dbus dri dvd dvdr dvdread eds emboss encode esd ethereal exif expat fam ffmpeg firefox flac foomaticdb fortran gd gif glitz glut gmp gnome gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 guile hal hardened idn imagemagick imlib ipv6 jack java jpeg lcms ldap libwww lua lzw lzw-tiff mad mhash mmap mng mono motif mozilla mp3 mpeg ncurses nls nptl nptlonly nsplugin offensive ogg oggvorbis openal opengl pam pcre pdflib perl png postgres python quicktime readline samba sdl speex spell sqlite ssl svg tcltk tcpd theora threads tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts udev unicode usb userlocales vorbis xine xinerama xml2 xpm xv xvid zlib video_cards_radeon video_cards_nv linguas_en linguas_de userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS
