Description Michal Kurgan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-17 03:58:45 UTC
Hello!
I'am a GWN polish lead translator, and would like to ask for a cvs access. We
(GWN team) don't have any access to cvs now, and util now we use a polish GDP
translators team members as a gate to publications of GWN issues. But now we
have problems with it, so here is my request.
I would like to know if such access is possible. Also, is there any "fast"
procedure for gain access if we have new team problems in future?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

I'll take care about mentoring him.
He will join as polish GWN translator.
He's been leading polish GWN translations project for few months, and actively
helped in translating issues for about a year.
He needs access to news/ part of CVS repository to do his daily duties.
Comment 2 Łukasz Damentko (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-07 11:07:17 UTC
He's current location is Edmonton, Canada.
Comment 3 Ulrich Plate (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-08 02:07:46 UTC
I'm very much in favour of Michal becoming officially assigned to Polish lead
translator for the newsletter. He's been reliably doing this for months already,
but he lacks cvs access to perform the weekly uploads himself. Thanks a lot to
rane for mentoring him!

Michal, email me your id_dsa.pub and i'll get you set up with access... you've been waiting for ages :)
Comment 5 Tom Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-12 08:30:08 UTC
Michal, sorry about the delay, it's exam season here. I've been kinda busy.

Your access is set up, so send me a msg on IRC and I'll give you the details.

Comment 7 Michal Kurgan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-26 08:51:56 UTC
I don't know.
I have already everything set for a long time, but till now it's open.

Mike, thanks. You can close this bug now, I believe. Michal was announced ages ago.

Reopening. moloh wants to become a full dev. I am going to mentor him to become part of the XFCE herd.

Michal, Daniel: once you guys are ready, just send the quizzes to recruiters@ and I'll review them. Feel free to harass me on IRC ;)

Please retire me, i only use bugzilla for some time so dev status is not needed anymore (nor i do any related work). As far as i understand i have to create separate account for that. Is that correct?
Comment 17 Łukasz Damentko (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-08 20:46:52 UTC
Yes, you will need to open a new account for yourself with your non-gentoo mail address. The one you used as a developer will be locked and preserved and the only way to get it back is to rejoin Gentoo in future.

Infra, please process Michał's retirement.
