Description Riley Patterson 2005-11-09 20:01:21 UTC
When I run emerge system, the process hangs up on gcc, where it experiences a
segmentation fault during compilation. The full error message is attached.

you may have the smp bug that exists in smp amd64 boxes

try upgrading to 2.6.14

Please reopen when you test a newer kernel.
