Description Yaroslav 2005-11-07 13:14:58 UTC
I use mplayer-1.0_pre7-r1 and if i start rewind matroska film with Codec_ID
V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC, mplayer freeze or crashed with error:

mplayer: h264.c:2306: mc_dir_part: Assertion `pic->data[0]' failed.

But, in some very rare conditions (i didn't know it), file rewinded and played.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. mplayer -vo xv -ao alsa /<path-to-mkv-file>
2. rewind with right arrow key
3. bad :(
Actual Results:
See details

Expected Results:
rewind an play :)

Sorry, but i fill that on win, and can't paste output from 'emerge info'.
PS i use mplayer config file:

subfont-text-scale=2
subfont-osd-scale=3
double=1

Comment 3 Yaroslav Isakov 2005-11-09 12:22:50 UTC
Probably, it's bug in ffmpeg, because ffplay (from cvs) also crached
Comment 4 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2005-11-09 13:31:36 UTC
Please report it upstream
Comment 5 Yaroslav Isakov 2005-11-10 11:34:17 UTC
They recommend me update to CVS, but i have no money to download about 30 mb of
source. Anybody, please, help me with snapshot (official location is down)
Comment 6 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2005-11-10 18:45:20 UTC
I can't assure you I can bring a mplayer snapshot in the weekend but I'll try.
Comment 7 Yaroslav Isakov 2005-11-18 13:25:55 UTC
I update mplayer, and it's works
Comment 8 Yaroslav 2005-11-18 13:31:20 UTC
It's works from CVS
