Description Daniel Kenzelmann 2005-11-03 00:40:49 UTC
When using mldonkey-2.6.5 or 2.6.7, mlnet crashes randomly after some time, the
problem seems to be exactly the same as in bug #105664
Maybe reopen that bug.

mldonkey-2.6.4-r2 seems to work.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start mldonkey-2.6.7
2. wait
3. mlnet crashes without a trace in logfiles

Comment 2 André-Sebastian Liebe 2005-11-04 12:44:24 UTC
but not traceless, maybe anyone can confirm that mlnet crashes because of an
invalid pointer

steps to reproduce:
1. start a screen (screen)
2. start mldonkey (/etc/init.d/mldonkey start)
3. wait an watch

after a random period of time you should get that:
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x0852a5f8 ***

please reopen if this isn't a duplicate
