When I download the Pentium 4 GRP Package, the download completes without a hitch however the md5sum value of the iso does not match the md5sum checksum file. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download the .iso (Bit Torrent Only) 2.download the .md5 checksum 3.run command md5sum -c packages-pentium4-2005.1.iso.md5 Actual Results: packages-pentium4-2005.1.iso.md5: FAILED md5sum WARNING: 1 0f 1 domputed checksum did not match Expected Results: packages-pentium4-2005.1.iso.md5: SUCCESS
What is the contents of the .md5 file?
(In reply to comment #1) The .md5 file contains a checksum for the .iso.
*sigh* Yes, I understand this. I want to know the *exact* contents of the file.
Patrick, please tell me that your reply was a joke. *Please* tell me that, even if you have to lie to me.
Created attachment 72053 [details] the .md5 checksum for the .iso
Yes, it was a joke. I've attached the file but the contents are: dc9d1b813e9abc94161e707f831d77fd packages-pentium4-2005.1.iso.md5 anything else?
Interesting... the MD5 *should* be: 29a1c12e845b340eb10ff864333ef6c5 See if your ISO matches 29a1c12e845b340eb10ff864333ef6c5 and if it does, then the MD5 on the site is incorrect and I'll have them fix the site.
hmm... that can't be good... the md5sum of the .iso still does not match that number. instead it shows: 9aaae7c8d780e8804845fee118b3441c

I just downloaded the thing. The md5 on the site is incorrect. However, the ISO is correct. I would suggest just redownloading it. I'll have them correct the MD5 on the site. stkn: it looks like the pentium4 packagecd md5 is incorrect on the tracker. Could you please redownload it from /release/2005.1/bittorrent/x86/packagecd/pentium4 on poseidon? If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Marking this as CANTFIX since 2005.1 is no longer available via bittorrent...
