Description moonlite 2005-10-18 16:13:38 UTC
emerge gdm-themes-2.0-r2 hangs emerge. emerge won't even respond to ctrl-c and
sometimes not even ctrl-z.
Some other ebuilds work fine thoug (abiword for example).

This is a blocker for me since i can't even use --skipfirst to compile the rest
of my packages.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gdm-themes
2.
3.

Actual Results:
root@localhost /home/moonlite # emerge gdm-themes
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) x11-themes/gdm-themes-2.0-r2 to /

[And there it hangs and remains hanged for at least 10 or so minutes]

Expected Results:
It should be merged obviously.

root@localhost /home/moonlite # emerge info

I have succesfully merged gdm-themes-r2. Try to update your system.
Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-22 03:50:08 UTC
@gnome - will you take this one? humpback doesn't want to maintain this any more, according to recent email to -dev ml.
Comment 3 John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-05 20:50:17 UTC
at this point in time, no, we do not want to maintain this.

Going to maintainer-needed then.
