Description Joshua (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-17 01:40:48 UTC
scim-1.4.1 hangs when starting up and has problems with x11 FrontEnd (depending
on use flags). scim-1.4.2 works. However, compiling scim-1.4.2 with -gtk USE
flag hangs as well if scim is used from, say, gedit.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. add ~ppc64 flag to scim-1.4.2
2. emerge
3. use.

Actual Results:
I can use scim, and can emerge scim-pinyin and enter Chinese.

Expected Results:
It hung before. Locking up the program that was trying to use it.

This even happened with different LANG settings.
