!!! Function src_unpack, Line 43, Exitcode 1
!!! aclocal failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

In case it helps:
* sys-fs/progsreiserfs
     Available versions:  ~0.3.1_rc8
     Installed:           0.3.1_rc8
and
* sys-fs/reiserfsprogs
     Available versions:  3.6.17 3.6.18 3.6.19
     Installed:           3.6.19

I have already re-emerged automake:
* sys-devel/automake
     Available versions:  1.4_p6 1.5 1.6.3 1.7.9-r1 1.8.5-r3 1.9.6 1.9.6-r1
     Installed:           1.4_p6 1.5 1.6.3 1.7.9-r1 1.8.5-r3 1.9.6-r1
and automake wrapper
* sys-devel/automake-wrapper
     Available versions:  1-r1
     Installed:           1-r1

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
I can reproduce it every time I try to emerge gnome-spell. If you would like me
to provide further information, I can try anything you'd like

Actual Results:
as above

Expected Results:
I was hoping it would install!

Comment 1 Maxwell Grender-Jones 2005-10-13 02:17:53 UTC
Having done some investigation, I think I've solved it:

equery belongs /usr/share/aclocal/path_dps.m4
[ Searching for file(s) /usr/share/aclocal/path_dps.m4 in *... ]
app-text/dgs-0.5.10-r1 (/usr/share/aclocal/path_dps.m4)

eix dgs
* app-text/dgs
     Available versions:  1234
     Installed:           0.5.10-r1
     Homepage:            http://ronaldmcnightrider.ytmnd.com/
     Description: fake ebuild to force removal of broken path_dps.m4

So I suspect the problem is that gnome-spell should make sure that that newer
version of dgs has been installed as per Bug #98762

And lo! Once I've installed (and uninstalled) that newer version, it all seems
to work!
