Bug 109028 – wxGTK with Unicode and USE="-gtk2 -wxgtk1" not possible

Ok, hi there...

First of all:
My system is an AMD64-maschine, but i think this is an general problem.

The background:
Amule got an updated this week... i tried to emerge it.
The new version needs "wxbase"... the non-gui libs of wxGTK

Well i tried to emerge wxGTK again. After the emerge it says something like
"wxbase is no longer part of portage. If you want to install it you have to use
-gtk2 -wxgtk1"...

Well and now here is the problem:
I tried "USE="-gtk2 -wxgtk1" emerge wxGTK

thats the output:
 * To install only wxbase (non-gui libs) use -gtk2 -wxgtk1

!!! ERROR: x11-libs/wxGTK-2.6.1 failed.
!!! Function pkg_setup, Line 33, Exitcode 0
!!! You must put gtk2 in your USE if you need unicode support
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.



Amule with unicode needs the wxbase-unicode-2.6 files... how to get them if you
can't get wxbase with unicode support?

Please use "New -> Gentoo Linux -> Component: Ebuilds" in future. Infrastructure
is not the correct addressee.
