Description SpanKY gentoo-dev 2002-11-17 03:30:32 UTC
[04:24] <SpanKY> carpaski: how come we got econf and einstall defined in ebuild.sh
but emake isnt
[04:25] <carpaski> SpanKY: Might have been because if you want to use emake twice,
knowing it is going to fail... then it'd still work.
[04:25] <SpanKY> also if it was in ebuild.sh, it would allow for '|| die' structure added
[04:26] <SpanKY> but why use emake if you know its gonna fail ;)
[04:26] <carpaski> nifty, but it might break things.
[04:28] <carpaski> Yeah, but if I change that, someone is going to have to check every
ebuild that doesn't ahve ||die on the emake line for flow control.

Don't really know where to go with this, so closing (if anyone is interested in this reopen it).
