with the newer ebuild seahorse-0.7.9 it does compile :-)
Yeh, this is fixed in 0.7.9 for 2.12 - you've mixed masked packages here without upgrading everything which is why you're seeing the problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 106144 ***
