For gdal to support GML language it needs to be compiled with xerces-c.
An easy hack is to add to DEPEND dev-libs/xerces-c and then to pkg_cong
--with-xerces. It works fine. Of cource some USE flag like gml would be much
more appropriate. I'm new to ebuilds so no ebuild attached.

This is fixed, but hdf5 support is still on hold for a bit.
