If there's an existing document, then one can browse to the document via Nautilus and click on the file. Just a thought... Regards,
Would that not be inconsistent with regard to Eye of GNOME, for instance, which is "only" an image viewer.
I have a fix for this. However, evince doesn't build since libtool was upgraded, due to the lack of a shared version of libkpathsea from tetex. I've submitted a bug with a fix about tetex (bug #105418), and once that's fixed, I'll commit the fixed evince.
Fixed in CVS. I got tired of waiting for tetex. If you can't build because of kpathsea, try disabling the dvi use flag.
