I use KDE as my DE, but I don't compile all of it. I just emerge kde-base-meta   
kpdf and few other packages.  
  
It would be nice to be able to do something "emerge -u mykde" that updates all  
the kde-related packages to their latest version, much like what "emerge -u  
system" or "emerge -u world" does. 
 
For now I'll create a mykde fake ebuild in my overlay, but in the future it 
would be nice to have this feature. 
 
PS: obviously this could be generalized to mygnome, mygames, mywhatever :)
