It's probably an error due to a specific background image you have. Can you find out which particular image generates the message (try loading it in eog from the commandline and see if it generates the message). I use this one [1] as background , when i load it in eof i get a lot of these errors. (eog:5715): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_key_file_add_group: assertion `g_key_file_lookup_group_node (key_file, group_name) == NULL' failed I changed background image with is one [2] but "gnome-background-properties" behavior is the same. [1]http://www.ibiblio.org/web-gentoo/images/backgrounds/gentoo1600x1200.jpg [2]http://art.gnome.org/download/backgrounds/gnome/110/GNOME-Glassy_1600x1200.png I don't know how many backgrounds you have listed, but g-b-p probably scans all of them, so the one you have actually set or selected is not necessarily the one returning the error. Thats why i asked you to go trough all of them and only report the one that gave the actual error. Both of the referenced pictures work fine here and do not give any errors. The errors you posted are most likely not related to the initial report. Are you still having this problem? If so, can you try rebuilding librsvg, libpng, gtk+ and control-center? ( and then restarting your session ) Thanks! After rebuilding librsvg libpng, gtk+ and control-center and finaly revdep-rebuild the error disappear into thin air Thank you resolved |
